Hyper v 2012 windows xp mouse not captured

I've had to get the integration services ISO from a R2 hyper-v server and install them that way. Essentially you need an old version. In the hyper-v manager what does it say about your integration services. I'm going to assume it will say not installed. Office Office Exchange Server. Not an IT pro? Resources for IT Professionals. Unfortunately there isn't really a whole lot of info to go off of here. I'm also confused as to what it is you are having a problem with.

You say in your title that the mouse isn't working in remote desktop, but you say that you are using Hyper-V to install an OS and it's not working, which is it? How are you accessing this system? Are you on a VPN connecting to the network? It could be your issue that you are using RDP and the HyperV console on top, I have had VMs do all sorts of things from key repeats to the mouse being out of alignment with where it was showing on the screen.

My suggestion would be to do this from outside of an RDP session and see if your issue still happens. Either do it from RSAT installed on your machine or from locally on the server itself.
