Step 1 Open your vehicle's hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal from the negative post. Step 2 Mount the control module in an open spot under your dashboard, within 24 inches of the ignition. Step 2 Connect the purple wire to the starter in your vehicle. Step 3 Connect the pink wire to the ignition 1 output of your vehicle. Step 5 Connect the orange wire to the accessory wire from your ignition switch. Step 6 Connect the black wire to any metal grounding surface of your vehicle. Step 8 Connect the gray wire to the hood pin switch.

Step 12 Connect the blue wire to the ignition 3 output of your vehicle. Step 15 Connect the green wire to the lock output on your vehicle's door lock control relays. Step 16 Connect the blue wire to the unlock output. Step 17 Connect the two-pin blue connectors together by snapping them into place once all the wiring has been done. Reconnect the negative terminal of your battery and close the hood. Tips Installation is vehicle-specific.

The alarm won't go off if it sees ign before constant. And I also agree that saying that Code is bad because the remotes don't come programmed is not really a valid reason.
