This requirement includes Synopsys standalone software directly obtained from Synopsys. In contrast, the Actel Editions of Synplicity software still use the synplctyd license daemon. If a user wishes to serve both Synopsys Standalone software and Synplfiy AE on the same license server there can be a potential conflict if the snpslmd v Synopsys migrated the Synplicity Synplify software to use the snpslmd license daemon in Synopsys For customers who are using updated Libero Floating licenses generated after January , the Synplify feature lines will be tied to the new snpslmd daemon resolving the issue described above and making the workarounds below unnecessary.
